Very nice work Slim, it proves that simplicity can tell a very strong story, keep up the good work and keep on showing us all.

Congrats Siim. I think the solitude of the war weary gun tells a tale of a thousand words and no figures or anything else is necessary. You have captured a really good moment by using so few items.

Looks great! I especially like the very effective groundwork. Looks very much to scale.
The idea of the Panzerfaust as a backup for the crew seems very logical to me.
Thanks for sharing

Siim, First let me say that you did a great job with the piece! Now I'd like to get some insight as to how you achieved the paint/weathering sceme. How did you do the wear/chip paint effect?

Sorry for the late reply, just wanthed to thank the people who I haven't before. All comments are nice to read.
dpompei-- I just painted it with yellow, did the camo lines with dark green and brown. Then shot a mist coat of dust color, something I just mixed up during the painting session. It ties everything together. Then I gloss coated it. Gave it a heavy wash of dark brown and did all the detail painting. I did the chips with a piece of sponge dipped in metallic paint. I gave the model and base a dusting with pastels and ready it was. I didn't have to give it a matt coat as the washes had taken away the sheen.
Again sorry for the late reply.
