Much of the building interior is scratch built, with many accessories modified as needed. This includes lots of balsa wood rafters, resin furniture, and debris from the Custom Dio series. The overall design of the diorama is intended to provide a full 360-degree viewing area, so the entire scene was mounted on a 16-inch diameter "lazy susan" for easy turning, and the edges were finished in a distressed mode, to blend in with the overall tone of destruction and desperation. All painting, including the building, was done with a variety of hand-brushed acrylics (nope - no air brush or spray cans here!), and then aged with a light black wash. Posters of the era and Verlinden dry-transfers were used to add to the authenticity. Figures come from a variety of sources, including Dragon DML, Verlinden, MK35, Jaguar and Warriors.
