This is the Trumpeter kit with the only add-ons being some stowage parts from Legend and Tamiya. The model was painted with Model Master acrylics with the base coat airbrushed on with Medium Green. Some panels received a lighter shade around the edges and center portions. The weathering was done using the Dark Wash from Mig, including a very light overall wash further enhanced with a pin wash. The final weathering was completed with Mig pigments and sealed with Testor's flat clear coat.

The badly chipped Canadian Army license plates, cardboard boxes and the cases of Coca-Cola delightfully enhance the authenticity. Are there any other attributes that are distinctly Canadian about this particular LAV III?

Kevin: great looking build. My only comment would be that the box strapped to the spare tire doesn't look too secure. A couple of good bumps and it will be all over the roadway.

Very nice project., well done! Thanks for sharing. What did you use for the chains on the smoke grenade launchers? Did they come with the kit?

Yes there is a sheet of PE that comes with the kit. Very nice addition to it.
Thanks all for the comments.
