Very nice indeed!

Very nice build, overall. Couple of observations. The turret is riding very high above the deck for some reason. Is this some oddity of the Academy turret ring part? It shouldn't be difficult to fix. Also, German tank guns were not finished in red primer, they came from the manufacturer in a dark gray or black thermal lacquer, which was resistant to heat from firing the gun. The camouflage paint was applied over this (and sometimes was itself discolored by heat over time). Occasionally, replacement guns were left in the dark lacquer, if there wasn't time or paint available.

Nice work but the antenna looks a bit long. I think those ones were a fixed 2m. It’s probably never visible normally but as you showed a pic of it, I very much doubt that the hull floor would be painted Dunkelgelb as the need for concealment is the least of your worries if the enemy can see it. In use it would rapidly wear off anyway as the belly scrapes over rough ground.

Thanks for your input Gerald. About the riding of the turret, it is a feature of the kit, I have another one and tested the upper hull with the lower part of the turret and looks the same. And the gun colour, I just followed the kit instructions. I was surprised too, but since my knowledge of WWII subjects regarding to this feature it’s quite limited, I just kept working as per instructions. In the end and everything considered, I really like the kit and how it came out, both for price and quality (bought through a local retail dealer). Some much, that I got another one, and purchased Hobbyboss tracks for it. Cheers and thanks for your comments.

Point taken on the antenna, I used wire and old mk.1 eyeball to do it. I’ll take care of that on the next one. Belly paint, I’ll add more scrapping on the next one. Cheers and thanks for looking

Well done job on this king! I may suggest that the tanks' commander hold the map. How about if suddenly he spotted an enemy, get into his room, closed the cupola, and of course he lost his map ASAP, hahaha... You may add the headset cable, too, so the commander will be look more gentle with such details. Once more, congratulations for the finished king! Very nice weathering on the entire body and also the tracks. Cheers Garry
