News in from Takom provides a few details of their upcoming Russian Object.
Takom International has provided an update to Armorama of their coming release of their Object 279. The kit will allow the builder the option to build one of three versions: the example at Kubinka Tank Museum, the Object 279 from 1960, or an Object 279M. Included in the box will be the optional turret parts for the versions, and also included will be one figure, colored photo-etched, and decals. All in all, sounding to be a great release.

Armorama would like to thank Takom International for the update.

Until now, just nice words but not a single pic of any parts of the kit, nor even any CAD image. Weird thing, since the kit is announced for early October Let's wait and see what the final kit looks like

Yawn... If all come to be, we will have three state of the art kits of a weapon that never fired a shot in anger, but field is wide open for high quality models of Soviet stalwarts such as the T-28 or BA series armored cars.

"M" version.....what the heck? Something tells me the Kubinka version will just be with the suspension depressed....how is that an option?
