Hi Has anyone got a spare set of instructions for the Tamiya Leopard 2A6 or a copy of them? Or would anyone care to swap a 2A6 for a 2A5? I have 3 kits BNIB, as I kept getting the wrong version!!
Cheers

Why not just buy an L55 aftermarket barrel for your 2A5?
Why plan when you can react?

Better sell your A5 on Ebay and get yourself the A6 version. It includes all parts for the A5, plus L55 barrel, some goodies, including clear parts for the rear lights, which are not included in the A5 kit.

I got my barrel out of either Luckymodel or Easyhobby. I think Barrel Depot makes one and even with shipping it costs less than $10

Great advice. I'm doing an A5 and bought the A6 kit and I'm glad I did. The clear plastic rear lights are really slick, (plus you get clear lenses for the headlights as well) and it's the first time I've used the "clear" red and orange paints. The effect on the clear glass is very nice!

Tom;
Who makes those paints? I remember MM having done 20 or so years ago. Never really liked the outcome on my cars

Steve, I'm not Tom, but I can tell you that Tamiya and Gunze both make clear color paints.

That's correct. I used the Tamiya and they're actually not too bad. They're a slight bit thick when you apply them and you have to watch for build up and air bubbles, but overall I was pretty pleased.
I also was very pleasantly surprised by the chrome steel and metallic gray paints that Tamiya makes in acrylic. I'd always used enamels in the past for these but the Tamiya acrylics are very good and have the advantage of water clean up and faster drying.
