At one time I bought some of Verlinden’s older offerings and was someway disappointed. However they have some contemporary M1A1 crew figures that I’m interested in. Have any of you used Verlinden’s OIF figures before? If you are familiar with them, what are their strong points and weaknesses?
Thanks,
Noah

Are Verlinden’s OIF figures any good?

Noah, if you're thinking of the figures I am then don't bother with Verlinden, get the real deal from Alpine Miniatures. Yes they probably cost a little more for the pair, but you get what you pay for! Here is a link to the Alpine set:

Thanks for the advice Mike,
Those Alpine figures look outstanding! My only concern is that I won’t be able to do them justice. Oh well, can’t get better unless you try I guess.

Hi Noah,
the ones from Alpine are really great like Mike said. Perhaps the best you can get. The one from Hobby-Fan are also great. But i think they are more for a M-88 designed an have no body armor i think. I have many of their Figures and all are great in Detail. Or you try the ones from Warriors. They are also very good. Look in the review section. There must be a review of them. The Verlinden Figure sets are not the same standard like a couple of years ago. Their aktuell releases are ... it´s a shame what they do in the Moment.
