I took this pic outside the building I work in in Dublin Ireland. The DUKWs are used as a tourist ride during the summer.
I'm not sure what are original fittings and what's been added apart from the obvious- shields, canopy, signs etc If anyone wants close ups I can probably get them, of the exterior anyway.
There was a thread on ML a year or so back listing all the DUKWs used as tourist rides in various parts of the world.

Cool.
Looks also just like the Boston Duck Tours.
I know the ones in Boston, most of them are the original chassis but much of the upper body parts have been replaced.

Same here in Pittsburgh. There's a pair of 'em - one red & one green that tour the city and take a cruise in the river. The company is called "Just Ducky" Tours and encourage their riders to quack at those of us on sidewalk.

In Wisconsin Dells they have 2 groups of tours which use the dukws, both have a fair amount of dukws in service.

There seem to be a lot of them still around and working fine.

Bob, I'd say they have quite a gaggle of them.
Interesting photos, and perhaps something to consider for the upcoming No Guns Allowed Campaign over on Model Shipwrights.

I rode on one once a few years back at Branscomb Missouri. And Dave, I was thinking on the same lines as you about one of these for the no guns allowed campaign. Would like to get an picture of the seating set up in the cargo bay. I've still got my little duck squawker they gave us. It used to drive my dog nuts when I blew it at him.

Hello all..
a few years ago I spent a week in D.C. and we took a tour on one of the D.C. Ducks.. It was a blast, also it was my birthday so I got to go up front and drive it for about 10 mins.. on the water only though.. I think I topped that sucker out at about 3 mph.. LOL (and yes I too still have my duck quacker)
