I like youre paint work not overdone with schratches and rust. But I have one comment and this is a personel one I think that the wooden parts are a litle overdone with the dark brown wood motif, but this is my opinion

I love your weathering technique. And, if the truth be known, I would pay a lot of money to have my tires come out looking like yours. Excellent.

great work again PC. The more build-ups from this kit I see, the more I think of unfair some of the reviews for it was! Lovely kit and well built and painted!

Very nice.
Where did you get the MG ring? Also, are any of the parts aftermarket, or is this pretty much box stock?

Nice job, I like the chipped paint and the wood texture.
?? Are the tires in the back the kit tires that are destined to go on it?

The gun ring is from the Tamiya 6x6 accessory set.
As for building, I do about 12 models at a time (at least), so when I finish them, it's usually a few at the same time.

Good Job Mark! Did you decide to postphone the 105mm Gun for a later DUKW?

Naw, I still want to put the Howitzer in the back, but I haven't started that yet. With all the time I spent on the DUKW, I can't justify NOT spending as much time on the Howitzer, and that Howitzer is in need of some tender loving care, as it's fairly old.

Great! I didn't have the 105mm lying around in my collection anymore. I figured I'd just by the new DUKW release with the 105mm included - can't have too many DUKW's in the closet
I think I'll be able to get some time to wrap my first DUKW up too - I've got some more things to do to catch up to where you are with yours...

I want to get another one as well and will probably just pick that one up as well, unless there is a significant price difference. I would probably put a jeep or other stowage in the next one.

I'm still tossing the idea around of doing the DUKW Scorpion - partially why I've been draggin' with completing mine - though the Scorpion literally drops into the Cargo Box...
Problem: too many good ideas and options, too little modeling time...

Yeah. Too many other kits. There are so many things you can do with the DUKW (and most other kits) and I don't want to sit and model half-a-dozen DUKW's.

Yeah, that or my Dragon Wagon, or my FAMO, or the 800+ kits I already have. Plus, I'll probably pick up the new Karl next weekend at the Fairfax model show.

I'm still waiting on a Verlinden accessorie kit. I want a cab cover and some bows for the back of mine. That and a slew of figures to go out for a Sunday drive in it.

Hi, pcmodeler, I'm impressed by your Ducky, the paintjob, washing and weathering looks fantastic!
I love the way you painted the wooden handles on the tools, they look very realistic this way!
Keep up the good work, John.
