Hi folks, was working out in some final details and I think itīs done for now. Iīll start working on the diorama where it will be placed, if anything else itīs needed will be done during that build.
I know there are quite a few paint details, but my pulse wasnīt helful to deal with them. gotta keep trying I guess.
As usual, all constructive feedback are welcome
Cheers

Hi Klaus,
greetings and salutations from the other side of the ocean.
One very nice model and an inspiration to those of us who are still trying to pluck up courage to make the first cut with a minor conversion, let alone something as major as your Piranha. I am looking forward to seeing it in a diorama.
Keep up the go work
cheers
David

I like it a lot, Klaus! I particularly like the dirt and dust effect--it is quite realistic. How did you achieve it? And how did you get the antenna tiedown cable to remain straight and taut?
The only two minor things I would point out (and they are really personal preference) are that the antenna bends too sharply for my taste--the pictures I've seen usually show a more rounded curve--and the straps for the gear on the rear deck seem a bit too wide. That said, I'm willing to bet you can find real-life straps that are just as wide as the ones you have depicted.
In any case, congratulations on a very good build, especially since it was also an extensive conversion!

Very nice Klaus. The weathering is just right. From the photos of UN vehicles painted white, it does not take long for them to start looking like your weathering job. I look forward to seeing the finished diorama.

Thanks for the comments and feedback.
Lucas, being the first time I actually bend an antenna I know it doensīt look very well, but will be adressed on the next ones. Also the straps, I guess my pulse isnīt as fine as I wish
Cheers

Forgot to say Lucas, the antenna was made of a thin wire I bought in my LHS, they seller told me it was used in radio control models. That said, I bend it close to the low end and then glued to the antenna base and added tie down cable to it.
