Hi guys,
Hopefully i won't get a bashing here..but i want you guys to take a look at the figures on the Tank website and then have a glimpse at the site from Alanger figures .Now just recently i painted a set of of Alangers Cossacks and after checking a link out here on Armorama for Tank's figures there seems to be some awfully uncannily similarities between the figures sets.
If you don't believe me take a glimpse at these photos here:
Firstly here is a figure from Alangers Cossacks,(originally it is without a moustache). He has a very distinctive face.
Now take a look at this figure from Tank:
This figure has exactly the same distinctive shaped head as of the one from Alanger.Even the pose of the figure similar.
So after seeing the comparisons between the figures i found yet another example.
Below take a glimpse at the figure second left from the Alanger set.
And likewise, the same figure low and behold from Tank:
Ok, the details of Tank figures are at a higher level than that of Alangers, but is there a chance the same sculpter has worked for both companies or Alanger have copied Tank or vice versa?
What do you guys think?
Cheers,Shay

They are the same figures, sculpted by the same guy. I suppose the moral of the story is if you see a TANK figure you like check out the Alanger range first.

They certainly appear to be extremely close looking.
Perhaps they worked a deal...... errr maybe?

The poses are very close but they are not the same exact figures. The Tank figures are incredibly well-detailed. The Alanger ones are pretty good for plastic, nearly as good as recent DML IMO, but they aren't nearly as good as Tank.
Just my two cents.
