A while back I came across a model of this HMMWV but I can't find my link to the site, can some one direct me to this model (site) and its maker?
Much appreciated
Bill

HMMWV's have right hand side MG mounts as well.
The rectangles on the hood. No idea! Because they donīt seem to be regular, I think they were made with a sticky tape, but for what purpose ...???

Dear Joe, dear Bill,
these HMMWVs are definately from Bravo-2-0 period, however at that time the SASīs Land Rovers had no weapon ring mounted. It was just a simple roll bar behind the driverīs and commanderīs seats. Also, all the SASīs LRs were right hand drive so the machine gun mount would have to be on the oposite side
I really wonder what the vehicle is.

I'd like to spend an hour or two with your buddy and you, over a pint or two of beer. I bet I'd have so many model ideas I'd never build them in a life time(or two).
Not to be too thick, LTD, lLocation Transmission Devise? Could the box be a gimbaled compass like the fishermen use here in Newfoundland?
There has to be some one out there that knows more about these vehicles?
Thanks
Bill
It won't take long though for Frenchy to come up with one if they exist ;0)
