Having used the two winter camo snipers in the group dio build, I decided to use the two spring/autumn snipers in a similar dio. The figures are part of the Dragon German sniper set and the building is Italeriīs Church door with my first attempt at pouring hardwall and scribing for the sniperīs cover.

As usual, all comments welcome!

If I was the sniper at the trigger, I think I'd wear my helmet. Wanna know why ?

Again - Very nice work. Simple focused. Nicely done. The snipper cover is good. You did well, keep up the good work.

You have a nice handle on composition, color and texture.

I offer a couple of very very minor subtle things to look at as you progress. These are by no means knocks on this or your other dio. Just things to take look at as your skills get better and you want to try them. The kneeling snippers left knee is not all the way on the ground (could be photo not sure). A well placed piece of rubble would take care of that. The spotters right hand isn't grabbing the rile very well. I know this is something that took me a while to start doing so take this with a grain of salt. As you gain confidence and experiment you can work on repositioning hands to hold things better. If you want pointers just ask.

BY ALL MEANS ---- Be proud of these two dioramas. They are great. I really enjoyed looking at them. Wonderful stuff. Keep it up.

Awesome figures... very well done and good poses... I like the consept a lot...

Just one thing: if you have ever shot a lot, you know that you do not lay your rifle on a rock like that... it looks like if should work, but it does not. You want your hand under the stock. Watch Enemy at the Gates and you will see what I mean. Tripods are another matter, being part of the rifle, but even then you will see the rifleman holding the stock at least lightly...

Keep up the good work.. I love the groundwork, too.

Thanks for your kind words guys. Most of this was built alongside "seek and destroy" for the group build. As both sets are pretty much the same kits and idea, when I choose that name I decided to look for a similar name......... creeping death. Cool names and cool songs!
Slodder.. you are right ...... his knee is not touching ....... how did I overlook this? its fixed now with some rubble. The gun however cannot be changed, and I was aware of this. There is a very tight fit and as I paint it seperate, this is the best I could get it in.

2-2dragoon..... I would not have known this. Good tip! But even if I had known this, this is the figure pose. Poor maybe on Dragons behalf. Maybe hes adjusting it, on his shoulder??

Thanks once again guys!
