There are a lot of beautiful resin kits that i would like to see in plastic. The diamond T wrecker is one, the morris ambulance another (Think it's a morris).

Some of the weird British stuff like the Independant, Tortoise or the TOGs could be fun.
But I add my support to the shout for early A# cruisers and Vickers tanks.
On the Soviet side I'd love to see a T35
Oh and more interesting figures---LRDG, wounded, POWs, and especially artillery crews!!
All in 1:72....

I'd be happy with modern, 21st century quality kits of the Crusader, Churchill, and Universal Carrier.
The last 2 in particular strike me as right up Dragons street, given their propensity for releasing a myriad of variants once they have kitted the base subject. The British UC is of course the most produced armoured vehicle of all time.....

Well, with all the PE and brass that DML puts into their kits, I think an M4A3 Sherman with an interior would be nice. Some more French stuff would be good, and some British, like a Churchill or Cromwell. I realize that the Churchill and Cromwell exist, but I think that a new rendition done by Dragon would be nice.

A good Matilda
Bulldozers and other engineer equipment I will say they probably won't sell so well in plastic
We have seen "paper panzers" in plastic Why not Allied stuff?
T28
ISU 152/1 That was an ISU 152 with a real long barrel One prototype was made

Engineering equipment. I agree with the dozers and such. I would love to one day do a Seabee dio involving my grandfather's downed Hellcat on Pelilue.
Maybe some more Gun-Truck options. I know they're from 'Nam but they are allied! Some Korean War versions of AFVs too.

Wow, what did I start? I think a lot of the suggestions are, as Jim says, not commercially viable, I do think we will see more British Armoured Cars from Bronco or Skp, an M3 Grant and a DV Sherman from Academy, Maybe some more French tanks from Tamiya.
I don't think we'll see any new Bren Carriers or Lloyd Carriers any time soon
Nice rumour,Where did you hear that Mark?

International Harvester supplied 5,200 M5/M9 half tracks to UK during WW2. I would be nice to see a 1/35 kit to complement the recent WW2 armour. Even a resin conversion set would be nice.

I doubt if it'd come close to practical. It would be an absolutely enormous set and resin would not be suitable for the re-worked (and thin) armor. Once the M3 becomes availble, it'll be more practical but not IMO, particularly viable commercially. I'd love to see it, but i'm not holding my breath. We'll see the M3 APC and a few easily done variants but an IH H/T would mean the manufacturers REALLY sticking their necks out...

I know this is not an "Allied" answer in the strictest sense, but I would love to see DML give either the Smart Kit, or Superkit treatment to the M60 series tanks. Also, any new Shermans are always welcome!

What about a mainstream injection kit of a DD Sherman with the canvas 'boat' attachement deployed. I don't think anyone makes one of those, do they?

LVTs! I was browsing the web for a correct LVT-4 troop carrier and it seems like Italeri's the game in the town. However, it had it's shares of flaws. I wish someone would make rework Italeri's offering.

While there is a resin conversion, an M4A3E2 (Jumbo) would be nice, of course, just a plain old M4 would be great. Also, what the British would have referred to as a T-34-76 C or D would be great.

Well many of these have already been covered but I'd like to see
Commonwealth
Vickers light tank Mk6
Daimler Armored Car
Churchill AVRE (with the 290mm demolition mortar)
Archer
Canadian built Ford & Chevrolet trucks
LRDG truck (reissue the Tamiya kit or new)
LRDG figures
Some Scottish figures (with Bagpipe)
A British AT set with a PIAT
British or ANZAC figures for the Pacific or CBI
British figures in general (lets see there are 10,000 German figure sets and what 4 British sets?)
US
Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton truck
2 1/2 ton Tanker truck (or re-issue the Italeri kit)
Some heavy trucks (Mack, WLF etc)
more figure sets
USSR
SU76
more figure sets
Some misc figure sets would be nice too, partisans, a Jedburgh team, US / Canadian 1st special service force, OSS or SOE operatives etc
Not really Allied specific but some civilian figure sets would be nice too, Europe, North Africa, Pacific etc.

Excellent thread.
As others have stated, Just better Quality!!!
I have a older tamiya Sherman 75mm kit in the closet. I was pumped to build it and half did, then I jumped on a Christmas present of the DML Smart kit Panther G...Well, I don't want anything to do with the Sherman kit...POOR QUALITY!!!
OK, to answer your question.
Trucks! We had several and most we see are tank haulers and GMC 2 1/2 ton rigs. We had planty more and yes I want them in "smart kit" quality.
If somone knows something I don't please email me.
Again Excellent thread.
