Here is a link to some pics of the new Tamiya Hummer. I'm no expert on the Hummer but it looks really nice to me.

Well I just found what to ask the wife to get
me for my birthday! They should consider adding
a choice of weapons systems.

kf8xo, in the thread titled 'Tamiya's new Hummer!!! ' theres a picture of a .50 cal stored in back of the hummer...so hopefully you can choose either weapon to mount.

I haven't built anything but WW2 for 33 years, but with what's going on now, I'm getting the urge to do some modern vehicles. Abrams, Bradley, and a Hummer should do it. And just maybe a 109.

Yes, fortunalty or unfortunalty depending on how you look at it....Tamiya (and I would suspect others but tamiya is the first I have heard) is going to be cashing on on the US Militariy's backs with reissues of some of their kits, namely, the Bradley M2A2, the M113 and the M577, saw these in an ad in the new FSM along with a few others that are being reissued, I thing the T-34 is one, as well as the British 25pd gun, and the M151 MUTT.

Looks like a nice kit- I have an issue with the brush guard though, the ones i've seen are mounted between the tow hooks and have mesh in the center and under the headlights; looks like something i could get into tho! :-)

Yes, I just got word from Tamiya USA's customer service. They said it should be on hobby stores shelves in the next two months.
