It seems that DML has quietly rereleased their Allied Weapons set.

That is quite something. If these are of the Gen 2 quality, I'm glad to see it. If not, I'm still glad to see some competition to Tamiya's set. Plus this has a larger variety of weapons than the Tamiya set. Thanks for the post Pat.

It's not Gen two quality. This is an old set. The good thing about it is that it has weapons not available in figure kits.

Wel, while it's not as good as the latest gen2 weapons, those old weapon sets are as good as the guns in dragon's regular figure sets.

Despite the fact that I'm dissappointed that DML haven't applied some Premium or Gen2 magic to this set, I'll still be picking up at least 3-4 of these sets before they go OOP again.

Thanks for this great news Pat.

I wonder if they will re-release the German weapons set or possibly the quartermaster set with the german equipment? Any word for those items?

DML has re-released both German Sets #1 & #2, as well as a Modern US set, too.

While I missed the last allied weapon set when they sold out some years (and they were having a discount, I really don't know why I didn't grab them all then), I got both of the German sets.
When Dragon's having this re-releasing spree, I'll cross my fingers and hope they re-issue their AK sets as well, especially part-2 because of the Finnish RK's. Then, finding suitable figures to convert into Finnish soldiers is another thing...

I wish they'd rerelease that 1/16 weapons set.

Hi David,

What 1/16 set was that? I would love to have a set like this in 1/16 scale.

Cheers

Ray

Dragon had a 1/16 German weapons & accessories kit. In addition to the firearms, it had bayonets, gas mask cannnisters, canteens, shovels, etc. If I remember right, it also had an MG34 in it, which never came with any of the Dragon or Tamiya 1/16 fig kits. They all had the MG42.

I'm waiting for a re-release of the Italeri modern weapons set. Need more FN-C1s and SMG C1s.

Hi Dave,

I've been pretty successful in getting the Italeri Modern set on Ebay. If you keep an eye out for them.

Cheers

Ray
