Hello,

I'm looking for some 1/35 scale figures depicting children (preferably boy and girl in toddler age) in WW2 era clothing. So far I’ve found few sets by Custom Dioramics and one by Legend Production, but it’s still not quite what I envision…

Thanks in advance

The new 'Checkpoint' set from Masterbox includes a small girl. It can be seen here:

Thanks Pat…

I don’t have any specific pose(s) in mind. I’ve got the idea for a vignette with two toddlers in some sort of ‘after the war’ scene. I’m thinking about maybe an abandoned/slightly damaged Kettenkrad and lots of other equipment left behind. Those two would stand in the middle of it, possibly with some wear down toy. They would be however depicted in the moment where their attention was caught by the “Kilroy Was Here!” graffiti on a wall nearby (or the Kettelkrad itself) and there are discussing it vividly. Or something along those lines…

So I’m pretty much looking for just standing children, maybe with some finger pointing involved. What I have seen so far are rather older children. I’d like to have the little ones to emphasize their innocence and curiosity in ‘unusual’ things like Kilroy…

It’s probably worthy to mention here that I feel capable to do some minor tweaks in the postures, but scratch sculpting is beyond my skills at this moment.

Preiser makes several 1/35 kits with children. ICM has a kit called "German Patrol" with young shoe-shine boy that would probably look good sitting on an abandoned Kettenkrad.
