Amazing. That's better than a LOT of 1/35 stuff I've seen.

Don't see much in the way of improving. The Only thing I would comment on are the sandbags in the 3rd image, they look a bit stiff. Other than that -these are great
I'd love to do a Model On Display feature of the column moving with the horses. If you have more photos of it that'd be great. I'd love to see a photo with a coin or something similar to give a sense of scale for that diorama too.

These are, without a doubt, the most beautifully painted and detailed little figures I've ever seen. Are you from outer space ? How long did you spent to paint one figure from A to Z ?
Just fantastic what you've done, and the hole scene is so dramatic, even the faces have their own caracters. STUNNING ! G.

What you made is nothing short of amazing. Your painting is worlds better than mine in 1/35 scale. I never would have thought that much detail would be possible on something that small.
I like your painting style too, what paints did you use?

This is amazing! I've done a few 1/72 figures and have never achieved anything as detailed as this. The only thing I could say is that the weapons look a bit out of scale in terms of thickness. By the way, where did the figures come from? Did you sculpt them yourself?

Hi all
Thank you for your encouraging comments.
Guy : The marching germans dio was one of my first projects in this scale, so at the beginning I eould say it toook me about 4 hours for each figure. Now I can paint one in maybe 2 1/2 hours. The dio has 30 marchinf figures, 6 riders, 7 horses, the limber, the gun and the terrain, all that included some figure conversions must have taken me around 150/180 hours or so.
Jim: I use Vallejo acrilics. I sometimes shade some areas using black emanel filters.
Chas: Most figures are TQD (CP models) there are some AB (with TQD or Preiser head swaps). These fiures are wargame oriented so that's wy weapons are a bit out of scale. Nevertheless great figures in my opinion.
Once again, thank you for your kind comments. I'll be posting new stuff shortly (not so massive though

)

Very impressive, there's no way i'd be able to come close to this detail in such a small scale - I have enough trouble in 1/35!

This is great painting for that scale.Have you ever thought about posting a step by step guide to paint so tiny figures?I 've read all over the .net many articles about it , but i think that the results were mainly for wargaming figures and not for dioramas.Keep posting , I love your job.

I have heard it said a good diorama tells a story. Yours tells a story with every face of every figure. Bravo!

Ola, Angel.
I'm very impressed of your diorama! Bravo!
Can you give me some detailed tips on how to paint those figures? what are your base paint? enamel over acrylic over oil? what are your wash techniques? Do prime your figures? You can email me at
[email protected].Thank you very much.

Fantastic work, realism achieved with some figures so small it is very difficult to overcome.
Moreover, this column, with the poses that have soldiers is a marvel
Congratulations

High again Oniria.I found your article about painting faces in 1/72 scale at bennosfigures.com.What a fantastic and detailed article man. Some dudes here who paint figures in 1/35 don't bother to do such exhausting painting layer by layer.Congratulations.
