I'm looking for references or company names that advertised on the sides of buildings during WWII, Western Europe. I've looked but I'm not getting lucky, either I don't have the key search phrase or I'm just not looking in the right place. Searched my image references too.

Thanks.

Great link - I'll use it in future projects. I'm looking for images or references of adds that were painted directly on the wall, similar to a billboard.

Ola Scott

Well have i got something nice for you... In the way of exactly what you are looking for. This is a site where a huge load of wallpaitnings can be found. Some old some a bit newer. And clearly and neatly categorised. You'll find everything here from Lubricants to Beverages and the like.

Scott, try searching for old racing ads from the '30s. I saw some brilliant wall paintings for the Nurburgring races recently in an old car mag. I think those will look brilliant in a dio.

Hi Scott,
Don't know if you are on Ediorama but there is a good method under their "Diorama Technic" for applying advertising to walls.
