Thanks.
Build was for a commision, so no attempt to make it too beat up. Also, the photo's supplied by the buyer showed the M48A3 looking almost exactly as shown...just a little bit dustier, but I was shocked that the tracks in the photo looked exactly the way they came out on the model. I guess I am used to Vietnem tanks being covered in red mud/dirt!

The nice clean build and simple weathering makes it a fine presentable model alright, a perfect 10 on this one Jacques

Very nice Jacques! Just a good old clean build. Tracks and the canvas mantlet cover look fabulous, and I like the spotlight cover too. The new owner will be very happy!

Neat built Jacques! You know the M48 is one of my all time favorite armor. I have a number of the early Monograms and then the Tamiya. I watched Elvis' G.I.Blues just to have a glimpse of the Patton which Elvis was servicing. I have one ready for painting and seeing your model inspired me to start priming it.e

Nice to see a clean, well build model like this Jacques. After Sean (Pigsty) kindly send me the Cupola hatch I was misssing (ok, ok,, I lost.. ) I have now finally managed to just about finish mine. Not as clean as yours though... My defence is that I started this model a few years ago, before I found Armorama...
Yours sets me an example though, so I'll be going back to the bench to improve mine.
Cheers
Henk

It looks very cleanly built and detailed, but I've never seen postwar Olive Drab that pale, even allowing for scale effect. Was this the client's preference? Also, why does it have four infrared headlights? Every Patton I've ever seen has two infrared and two white light headlights.
