Hi Jim et al;
When looking in my profile, I see I now have another feature to my credit, that of my Cougar AVGP. I'm assuming that was put there from the DMoM I entered. That's all very cool, thanks very much. but I was wondering why it doesn't show up inthe listings on the Photo Features page. Is it supposed to? Also, I entered my Canadian Centurion Mk 11LR tank the previous month with a bunch of pictures to go along with it, so if my assumption is correct, why isn't it listed as a photo feature too? I guess I'm just not sure about how all this side of it's supposed to work so if someone can explain please.....
thanks very much
Bob

Might still be a work in progress by one of the editors, and not yet posted Bob.

Bob,
You've found a loophole in the system, the Cougar is in the list to be published as an On Display but hasn't been released yet. When we create the placeholder in the admin side for it on the schedule until it's ready to go, it shows up under your profile even though it's "staged" and not "live" yet, which is why you can't see it but can see the link in your profile.
Not every DMoM entry is selected for inclusion in the On Display area which is why your Centurion isn't listed.

Yup. Ironically Rudi and I just noted this on another issue and I will likely be closing that loophole soon.
Cheers,
Jim

Not every DMoM entry is selected for inclusion in the On Display area ......
Bill,
Does someone select a DMoM entry for the On Display area, or does the person have to submit it for the On Display?

Don,
We (the editors) evaluate all of the DMoM entries that are submitted as a standard practice and make the selection. The users do not need to make any special request in addition to their entry to be considered for an On Display publication.
