Anyone have or built Maquettes 1/35th T-40? Just wanting to know how well it goes together.

Given Maquette's mould-acquisition tendencies, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was the same kit as the Start model reviewed here

I had one and made the mistake of starting it. After investing a few hours I realized that there wasn't much I could do to make a decent model from it. The kit is crap. I figured I'd wait for a decent kit to come out.
If you have to have a T-40, I'd suggest you start with a Techmod T-60 since the suspension is almost the same.

It is the old Start kit. It's not very accurate, though. The hull side angles are all wrong, and the tooling is typical Eastern European, with lots of flat panels to line up and lots of flash to contend with. The gun is poor, so look for a replacement. It's better than nothing, and will pass for a T-40, if you actually complete it.
