I have just finished AFV's M49A2C Fuel Tanker for a diorama and am looking for a couple of US Marine figures to operate the pump and hose. The timeline is Desert Shield.
Question 1: Did the 'service' troops wear battle gear while fuelling or do they wear overalls or something similar?
Question 2: Does anybody know of a set, plastic or resin, that could fit the job description?

They wore the overalls just like the tank crews and usually wore their soft covers (not helmets).

No, I have not found any that would work for this. Although, I am still looking. If anyone else knows of some suitable figures, please let us know.

They coould also be in regular DCU (desert camo) uniforms as well. If it was in a forward area, they would most likely have all their gear on as well. Any of the DML ODS-era figure sets would fit the bill.
