Well it has been a while.
The main assembly is finished.
My subgroups are:
The upper hull
The lower hull
The sliding gun cradle
And the gun assembly.
I left the wheels on the sprue for painting, and I took a chance and attached the side hand rails before painting.
I have used 2 bottles of Modelmaster panzergrau '39-42 on it.It uses a lot.Now all hat must dry,and I will do more assembly, and dig into the tracks.Highlighting will come after the upper parts are in place.

Hey Carl ..good to see it is almost over...(lol) Hope you have a better time with your tracks than I did...had to cut 4 tracks to get everything to line up ...If you want to spice up your kit a bit , a friend of mine has machined a master for the shells ..with all the details on the back end and is the right shape for the real shell ..I was lucky enough to be asked to paint the first one...really a nice addition ...(I have no monetary involvement in this project but glat to have helped him out).. Take a look at this

p.s. Yes I will fix the postion of the gun ..just as soon as I get it back from the hobby shop window!! ..lol

Having heard a few people had trouble with too many or too few links on a track,
here is my construction of my Karl's tracks.
I put the lengths together to go from the idler to the front roadwheel.
This left 3 segments for the top on each side.I plan on using the individual links to span gaps.
I put the first extra segment between the 2 rearmost support rollers. Then I leave a gap for singles, and put the next segment onto the next pair of support rollers.
And then it looks like putting the 3rd extra segment on top of the last pair of support rollers, next to the sprocket.the longest run of individual links will be from the top of the idler to the rearmost support roller. It looks like the minor openings can be spanned by about 3 blocks each.
I have discovered to do this track right,I will end up drilling those holes in each centerguide. Its the only way I will be able to face myself....
