After reading the promo here for Douglas Lee's book and seeing that he reveals tips on building the armor, not just dios, I just ordered a copy. I've seen his work several times in person and it's the most stunning example of our hobby I've ever seen.
My question is - does anybody already have this book and is it as outstanding as it looks?

I have it.
Besides his outstanding photos,
I like his writing style.
Although if you are looking for a glue part A to part B type book, then this one isn't for you.
My personal opinion is it's for more advance modelers who can look at photos, and understand what's going on.

Thanks Mac and Dave! I'm glad I ordered it. I'm way past the basics, I want to learn some of his techniques for attaining that look of his. Every time I see one of his dios at a show I stare at it for about half an hour and then go back to it 5 or 6 times.

Thanks Rudi, I didn't know that was around. Confirms what I had hoped though. I'm glad I ordered the book. I've seen all four of those dios in person and they are really amazing. I can't imagine that even the best photography does them justice.
Thanks gents!
