Hi,
Long story short, where could I get replacement towing brackets for a 1:35 T-70 tank?
I have in my stash a Toga's boxing of Techmod's kit, as well as eduard's PE set, new tracks & drive sprockets and a metal gun barrel, all purchased shortly before Miniart came out with their new & superb-looking kits.
There seems to be nothing terribly wrong or unfixable in the kit, except for the towing brackets.
OOB, they look like this:
While they should be like this:
The big picture
They look quite tricky to scratch-build. Buying a second kit to donate those parts would be an overkill IMO, since I've already spent more than double the original kit's price in aftermarket.
So, where could I find new & better brackets?

Haalo Eetu
The response is underwhelming.
Looking at the photo, I am reminded strongly of the tow brackets on the mid-series T-34. These are extras in the CH STZ kit, or could be scrounged from an old Tamiya kit. Either way, you will have to add the retaining pin.
There will soon be more aftermarket parts for this model kit. The roadwheels, the turret, turret hatch and mantlet, the driver's hatch, and the tracks need to be replaced, as they are inaccurate. These are coming for 2008.
Cheers

Eetu, I'm a duck out of the water, when it comes to Russian Armor.
But knowing your aircraft builds, I'm sure this one will turn out great.

Thanks.
I'll have to look around then.
^^ Regarding the aftermarket, are you referring to T-34 or T-70 AM?
Oh, and just to make sure nobody gets it wrong, that photo of the built kit is not by me, just the first pic showing the kit towing hooks I found. My kit's still in the stash safe and sound.
