Great work mates!
I don't post much these days, but I do enjoy checking what's going on here .

My model is painted, I've just finished rust wash, next step will be making few paint chips, then dust and finally: tracks assembly and painting....

Just asking, but what size of brush do you use (if you do) to paint chips in your monster?

@ Tuomas - I use MagPol brushes - 0 this time (00 was too small ). I've seen a lot of Russian tanks and most of them did not have many paint chips... just few small places next to the hatches and one big area in front of main front hatch where paint is torn to metal by crew going in and out of the tank.

@ Darren - I will keep that in mind ...although posting my efforts may decrease level of this website

Great progress everybody, I should have my styer done today.
Way to many projects going on. I had to come up with a rotation system for all of them. Or course that includes my h.o. scale model railroad projects too.. Anyway i will up load a photo later on today.

It's been a little cold out in the shed but, I'm slowly beginning to see the light. 1/48 KV-85 and SU-152:

Great builds everyone. That's a great KV-2 and I like the war photo pic base idea! (I accidently posted this somewhere else too - where I'm not sure)

They are clear resin that I have had in the closet for many years. I drilled out the inside, from the bottom, and painted the inside clear yellow. The ceramic plugs are white, and the wires are aluminum. The labels are decals that came with the bottles, and are seemingly impervious to solutions. The case was painted wood, then highlighted with a lighter wood color.

Thanks, I used a micro brush, the fuzz ball tip on them worked out real good for that smeared on look, that was so common with field camo jobs

Here are some much better pics of my submission. It took awhile due to the field and continually buing new models. All but one model that i've done so far fits this campaign, however this Panzer IV was my first AFV model and original submission so I am sticking with her.

Hi all,
I've just joined this campaign and am hoping to build a dio with a T34, a kettenkrad and a 37mm Flak. I should get this done over christmas before I go back to work. Starting to build them tonight.
Cheers
Tom

Okay!
Finally finished my campaign entry. This dio is " Surveying the Battlefield" The Kublewagon is the old Italeri kit. The half track is Tamiya's greif kit. The figures are Tamiya and Dragon some have had the heads replaced. This dio was a lot of fun to make and quite a challenge at times too. Enjoy!

hello Andrzej,
sorry i have not posted for a while, the real world has interrupted my bench time for the last few months.
thanks for the extra time, the tracks for my Tiger 1 are 1 inch to short and i have been trying to figure out how to get them on.so now i have some time to get them to work.

to all the builders,
i have been reading your post and your WIP's.i have seen some great builds and i am stunned by the way you have done your builds for this campaign. i think that there are some winning builds for any model contest that you should enter.
cheers,
Bruce

I agree with Bruce on the builds of this campaign and now that I have completed the Fall semester of college I can devote some time to the BT-7 and enter the finished model in short time.
