Hi Guido,
I've liked reading the various posts about your excellent conversion. Thanks for having given us those moments of pure pleasure.
One point though, unless the tankers has subscribed to the US version, the Playboy magazine should be in cyrillic
I suggest you gather all your posts in a feature article that would be for sure a winner.
Congrats
Olivier

Oh well done, Guido. First you choke me to death then I have to explain to associate SHMO why I'm viewing iffy pictures when she's out of the room I think it would be make your model stand out even more if you made photocopy of partially folded out centerfold instead of plain cover.

Some pics more. I worked on wheels, adding a muddy mix made with pigments and resin from MIG, acrylic and sieved sand. I took care not to cover the whole wheels, but adding the mix at random. When everything was dried I added a thin layer of pigments (at random too), fixing them with Tamyia thinner and finally a drop of Future (here and there) to add a wet appearance

This is a great photographic build log Guido!! Thank you very much for taking the time to post it.
The -72 looks great! I got one of these in my stash. Might have to dig it out.
Oh, got any more shots of the "other" model? Ha ha!

Hi men, here I'm again with my tank. I made dust effect using Mig pigments with different techniques
sometimes a whole mix of them
they were applied as a powder only and then fixed with Tamiya thinner airbrushed over, or diluited with the same thinner and used as a lining or applied directly with a large brush simulating clods on the lower surfaces then fixed with a drop of thinner running up for capillarity.
Her you can see these effects obtained with those techniques I wrote about.
First
then with dust effect
as a lining
with a large brush simulating clods of earth
Then I added dirty drainings made with raw umber oil, large as a spot or thin
"games" with Maskol
and then the same with dust over
muddy soles
Splashes of mud
again
That's all folks, thank you. Next time....tracks.

Are there special stamps for the boot marks or is that just the tread from the boot of a figure?

Hallo guys, here I'm once again with my pics.
I completed the tracks: I use to add a black tone on the inner surface of them to simulate the continuous rubbing from the rubber wheels.
So, the first step is to paint them black.
then tape
and then I applied a thinned mix of the same pigments used to simulate earth on the wheels, here with a large brush
And so finally my T72 finished
.......and this is really the end my friends. I'd like to add a crew from the TANK range and then maybe an ambientation.
I hope to not bore you. Thanks to all of you.
Cheers and to the next kit.

Thank you men to all of you. For me it was a pleasure to build my model "with you". Thank you.
Now I'd like to submit it for the monthly model contest, but I've some problems with NRC registration, 'cause it tells me they already have my mail. Impossible. So I tried to write to forget my password (but I hadn't one), but I'm still waiting for the automatic answer. I don't know.
Is there another way to submit my model?
Thanks in advance to all of you men.

Hi Guido. I really enjoyed reading through your thread so far. Great pictures describing your weathering methods. Love that mucus-green colour for the chips. Worked really well. Hopefully you´ll enter this for a display model for the site. Will be one to check back on for ideas and tips. Nice one.

Thank you men for your nice words: they really touched me.
Yes I'll try to post some pics for display model contest, even if I now have some problems with NRC, but I don't surrender.
Have a nice modelling.
Cheers.
