Hey all,
Sorry for the slightly off-topic discussion, but it is at least a figure.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a 1/24 or 1/25 Steve McQueen figure?
TIA
Quintin

Hello Quintin, I think I saw a "Great escape " type vignette figure motor cycle base . It may be an Andrea Product. Check squadron.com. I hope this help.

Hi Quintin,
Revell did a 1/25 scale Bullitt Mustang diecast that included a Steve McQueen figure. You may still find one on Ebay.

These are both 54mm from Andrea and would neither fit the size requested.

Hey guys!
Thanks for the positive feedback. This is what I want to do. I've got a 1/25 Revell 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback I want to build as the car used in the film "Bullitt". I was also thinking it might be a nice touch to have a little Steve McQueen figure standing next to the car.
So, if anyone sees/reads sbout anything that might work, please let me know.
Thanks again!
Quintin

Hey Quintin, Check out the Swash web site /www.swash-design.com/ as they do a Steve Mcqueen racing figure (in standing position).
May be suitable

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the link.
What an awesome figure! It's just not the right scale But hey, there's nothing wrong with TWO Steve McQueens in a collection!
Thanks again,
Quintin

Hello,
Found one Revell 1/25 1968 Bullitt Mustang with the Seve Mcqueen figure:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Steve-McQueen-Bullitt-68-Mustang-With-Figure-NEW-N-
BOX_W0QQitemZ170187456998QQihZ007QQcategoryZ7316QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It may not be the best figure, but it is the right scale.
Cheers

Not sure what kind of Diorama you want to make, but a thought occurred to me that you could have a larger Steve(there are 6in versions on ebay) standing in front with smaller scale items from his movies in the back ground in smaller scenes. Mustang, motorcyle with a baseball glove, smashed up TransAm , etc. Might be kinda cool!
