Crazy. One can get to an accurate Panther II in many ways without buying a 20000 Yen resin kit. That's a "boutique" kit if I ever saw one

No doubt! I have seen a few of the sets in person and they aren't all that. The Resin has tons of mold release, bubbles etc.... Its not up to the level of say Formations or Blast's stuff.
I wonder how many of these sets Atelier Infinite actually sell??? I m sure its alot more than I would guess
I like their active suspensions sets though......

It still has the wrong turret...

The Panther II never had a turret, just had weight rings on top...When the allies got it they put a panther G turret on top...And then it was sent to Aberdeen....now it is at Fort Knox

I can not disagree more.
This particular Panther-II kit is THE most accurate one ever made, the DML Panther-II has so much faults, it's not even funny to start with.
And yes, the AM kit is expensive, and that is with all resin kits, they are expensive.
About the turret, their Panther-II turret is completely based on the turret as drawn in Panzer Tracts 5-4, in which Jentz and Doyle based a hashed drawing on the preliminary designs they have found.
Current projects:
DML Tiger-B late conversion into final
DML Panther-G late
CH Panther-F
DML Panther-G Steel Wheel

No way in Hades I would spend thatmuch. I'm content with my DML kit which is nearly complete for the 'BIG CATS' CAMPAIGN. It may be an inaccurate kit but I am having loads of fun building it!
