And again new pics :
I glued the Preiser infantry guys together, and gave them their temporary spot. Now I will start painting these little Fritzies.
Bye ! G.

Hi there guy
The wee dio is really taking shape now with the figures going in. Just a couple of comments though.
The rubble looks great but there is no clue as to where it came from with the differences in the stone of the retaining wall and that neat clean house. Looks like a case of fly tipping in the street. Would you be able to put a small hand cart or horse drawn wagon on the street with a broken wheel and some rubble still in it as a makeshift baracade that the tank is just sure to flatten like a fly.
Also the guys coming down the stairs, are they coming out of the house? If the door could be opened with one still in the door it would give a possible context to their position there.
The two guys with their heads bowed just look too similar too be in the front of scene on the stair and on the road. The small wagon or cart would give them a tiny piece of cover to be crouching down behind to sprint out from in front of the tank.
Just some food for thought.
Love the figures poses

That's a constructive feedback ! Thank you Nige !
The hand car is a very good idea, I will certainly consider adding one (a scratsh) !
The reason for adding the brick rubble in the diorama is to give the scene more colour and variation. May be the house of the neighbours was made in another kind of material and was completely damaged ? This happened sometimes. A bigger diorama could have declared this, but I wanted to keep it compact for it is not that important I believe.
The German soldiers were not in the house (door is closed), but come running from the back yard (considering their poses they are under fire coming from that direction ?). Again, I did not want to create a complete back yard to declare this. But may be an opened door could have been nicer.
Your comment is very much appreciated and I will think about the similar looking poses of the two Germans. Again, thank you Nige.
