I always used enamels and oils to paint figures, but now I tried to use Vallejo acrylic paints.
Here there are my last works: the driver for my DUKW and & the tanker for my Sherman.
If you have some advice to give me.....

Neil, maybe a medal is too much!!
Keith, the tanker is Alpine 35010, the driver is Warriors 35005, but I changed both the heads (Royal model or Hornet).

That Vallejo Acrylic paint is pretty good, ain't it!
I've just got their Panzer Aces sets (6 sets, each of 8 colours).
All are for Tanker Uniforms and cover: WWII
US (Army & USMC)
UK/Comm
French
Japanese
Italian
and, Oh!, those pesky Germans (Stug, Pz & Afrika Korps and includes Winter White)
There are also 'highlight' colours included which make a pretty comprehensive range as well as:
Red & Green Tail Light
Dark & Light Rubber
Trach Colour
Seperately, in their Model Color Range, Vallejo also produce a 16 bottle set (available as seperates) JUST FOR FLESH TONES! ........... Go figure ('scuse the pun!).
Beautiful to work with, like single cream, all will mix with each other and they spray GREAT. The paint can be blended and worked just like oils - a bit quicker drying time - but certainly time enough to get the job done.
No affiliation to Vallejo, just like their paint!!!
