I'm after German tankers headphones in 1/35, does anyone make a dedicated set?
Or is there a cheap kit that includes a fair few?

The PE parts like dragon include in their figure sets would be nice too.

Thanks,

James

Hi James
I know at least one of the Dragon sets have a few of these included ... maybe SPG crew reloading and/or their Stug crew??
Another alternative is Royal Models who have a dedicated set, with resin ear pads and etched microphone/connections. Quite expensive .. probably more than the Dragon set .. but have a lot more details. I can check these out this evening and give you a definative answer if nobody gets there before me!

don't know what you have in your stash but thought i'd mention these.

Dragon's panzer I kits have tankers headphones molded seperatly from the included figures. They are plastic earpeices with PE bands.

The Pz.Kpfw I ausf B kit # 6186 has 4 pe bands and 3 sets of earpeices (the kit has 2 figures.)

and the Sd.Kfz 265 Keine Panzerbefehlswagen kit # 6218 has 3 sets of earpeices and 2 PE bands. (kit also has 2 figures)

The moldings look pretty good...

Thanks for the tips guys,
I managed to find a spare pair last night in Tamiyas old King Tiger kit, and I have some PE parts left over from a dragon figure set, however, i'll be needing plenty more in the future, (I think they really make a tank commander figure) so i'll look into the options specified, those Royal Models ones look nice, expensive though as mentioned.

Mark, I couldn't find the how-to on planet armour, do you have a link?

Thanks again,

James

Plan C

The old Italeri Elefant has 3 sets in plastic, not perfect, but way better than the figures themselves.

Cheers,

James

There is at at least one set in the Aber radio gear set, but they're psychotic.. many many parts per set.

Hi James

For Royal Model in the UK there is SB Models.

http://www.sbmodels.net/Royal_Model_Figures.html

If you plan on going to the Milton Keynes Show this weekend I believe they are one of the traders going, check stock ask to take along and save the postage.

Plus you get the chance to spend even more money......ah no !!
