hi and thanks bob and tim, thanks for the kind words. the log tree was a real wood. actually it's a dried twig i found lying on the ground..we have boungainvillas around the park area and it has a nice bark surface. i sanded both ends to give it a feeling it was sawed off to fit the tank's hull. the shredded tobacco came later..i've noticed when tanks made it through inland..making their way through the jungle can't avoid crashing into plants and trees..usually coconuts and banana trees...banana trees when grown in the wild retained their dried leaves as insulation..thus can easily fall off when big vehicles pass thru them. a different story with the palm leaves..it's either you use machete or clip them while passing. thanks again for viewing and nice comments. cheers! ed

Nice job ed. I'll be doing the same kit for the Sherman campaign. Im still researching for more photos and information about the C Company, IMAC attached to 2nd Marine Tank Btn. So I have not yet started building the kit. Anyway two thumbs up for your kit.[::] [::]
