Here is a fantastic diorama. This one is monumental in many terms, overall size, overall detail, and in memory of the Band Of Brothers - Saving Private Ryan.

My only wish was that I could include every photo I had to review, there were so many of them. I chose the best of the best and still came out with a Huge On Display feature.

You like it in a thread with a quck view - here it is permanently and with many more photos.

Band of Brothers? This looks a lot more like the bridge scene of Saving Private Ryan

You're right, it does, I'll double check and make sure I didn't have to much coffee when I was putting in a title.

Either way its great.

Definitely SPR. And it was on display here on Armorama a few months back, by the guy who actually made it. It's pretty nice. Would have been even better if he'd made a Tiger on a T34-85 body.

Amazed. Detail is astonishing and the dio captures the terrifying scene in the movie (Private Ryan). That was a great scene and this diorama complements it very well. I can only imagine the work Steve must have put into it.

That is great work. I'm waiting for the P-51 to swoop down and blast that Tiger.

He certainly captured the feeling of the last action scene of the movie! Great attention to small details.....no doubt you could gaze at this one for hours at a show and still keep noticing 'little' details.
Is the bridge scratch built?
I would like to hear the builder's commentary on how he put this all together.
Cheers,
Charles

It is an incredible dio, a lot of detailled work has gone into it, and is especially in keeping with the film.

Top work!

Outstanding diorama. Plenty of detail, very nice painting of the figures, the vehicles and bridge/buildings. Excellent debris, great animation of the figures and nice camera work. The bridge is great and the small boat underneath is a super touch. Overall, superb job, amigo. Intense, rich in detail, great painting and weathering on all objects.
