Sven, an excellent job, as usual--I've come to expect nothing but the best from you, and you never disappoint! Quoted TextAwesome job on both, as usual.
What did you use for the snow on the SU-100 dio?
I used baking soda for the snow on the SU 100 dio.

One important warning, however--NEVER USE "BAKING SODA" FOR SNOW!!!------NEVER!!!!!
Sodium Bicarbonate is too chemically reactive with lacquers and paints to use for snow. It will yellow in time, and when combined with, or mixed in with, or fixed by enamels or lacquers, it will eventually react with the solvent base and ruin your models by "oozing" a nasty, oily gunk that will seep out from seemigly nowhere. It's happened to me, and on the Finescale Modeler site, other modelers have attested to the same experience. It is a heartbreaking experience, so just DON'T use it!
Try one of the commercially available snow powders, like the Woodland Scenics products. Or, unscented talcum powder may be the finest grained stuff you can find, but I don't know for sure if it is chemically inert?
