I finally got this baby finished. I had too many problems with fitting figures on that tank so I decided to close the loaders hatch and fill the commanders cupola with just one figure to give it a sense of scale. Funny how those final tiny adjustments take a lot of time... I just had to finish this in order to take it to Model Expo Helsinki next weekend...
Great model. Glad you added that figure Tony. A vehicle needs at least one figure to bring life to it and also so the scale can be seen. All the best now in the model expo. Hopefully it gets the acclaim it deserves

I've always loved Stug III's especially with the Sow-kopf. Noticed the change in machine gun, what kind is it...looks kinda like a Lewis...not that well versed in small arms though. I take it the "logs" are real and I have never seen the mantelett sides built up like that. Certainly is a unique vehicle. Great work
