Look on the first picture of the King TIger: Sd.Kfz. 166.....hm, also a Sturmpanzer IV?
I think it makes no sense, to make the upper hull and turret from clear plastic, because for a historic correct tank you need Zimmerit.

Well, the clear plastic is simply because it's a display model for trade-shows. This WON'T feature on the production model...

Wow--not one, but FOUR sets of modern figures, AND two new LAV variants. Even if Trumpeter only comes through on half of these releases (and they are fairly accurate), I'll be quite happy.

Thanks for the report Jim. One quick question, did the Trumpeter guys give any hint as to the cost of the 1/16 Tiger II? I would hope they would be in the neighborhood or maybe a little more, than what they charged for their big T-34's. I figure nothing was mentioned but I also figure it can't hurt to ask .

Cheers,
Mike

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the T-62 kit(s) will be worth the wait...

In a word, no. However...As usual, we should get notification from the U.S: importer a few months before it's released - so keep your fingers crossed ir's reasonable

Thanks for the heads up Jim, glad to see more LAV versions and the announcement of plastic Bundeswehr figures.

Cheers
