As most guess,
German AMV's...
1. Tiger 1
2. Panther
3. (tie) Longbarreled versions of the Pzkwf IV and the Königstiger
4. Nashorn/Hornisse
5. Jagdpanther
6. Stugs
7. Modern tanks
8. Sherman (seriously that far downthe line). The Sherman looks more like a toy to me, compared to the above, which simply ooze power and might...and still in some respects look beautifull....

I forgot about the little ole' stugs....i really like them, dont know whether they are a popular model though - and i find myself in two minds about the halftracks, in its various forms. I guess the germans have a way of building their armour to give it that appeal - as for shermans, i like them, but secondary to most others, - i'd like to do one tho, and also a churchill, having not had the opportunity as yet in 1/35 scale anyway.

Firefly! It makes the Sherman look serious.Panther.Mean and sleek. The sports car of tanks. And finally the Stugs, ugly, squashed, tough little guys.Sort of like a cockroach. For all of their afore mentioned qualities, you have to admire them.JOCK

Any of you old DATs remember having to unlock the brakes when they stuck?
I remember when at AOB (Armor Officer Basic for those unfamiliar) we had a Yemeni LT panic, take out a large gatepost on a range, lock down the brakes and nail the accelerator to the floor. The T/C eval (E-6 type) saved our lives by cramming into the driver station , taking the tank out of gear and unassing the Yemeni in a matter of seconds. Had the brakes been released, we'd have vaulted down a treacherous incline.

As for the original question, the Tiger I has to be the front runner just by seeing the different kits produced, followed by the Panther and the Sherman.
