Well I'm sure you've all seen Hilbert wonderful Red Alert project:

I think this is a great project, and a big honour to a family of games which deserves some extra attention. I think a lot of us played these computer games. It brought me to the idea of a group build. Not necessarily an official campaign, but possible if there are enough people who'd like to join.



The goal would be to build your favorite weapon from one of the games, say from the first Command & Conquer to Generals to keep things a bit nostalgic. Possible (armour) subjects are the Soviet Mammoth tank and Allied Medium tank, self-sculpted Tanya in 120mm or how about a 1/35 Tesla coil? And that's just Red Alert 1, there are many many options.





I'd like to hear your input. Would there be more people interested in such a group build? It would involve a lot of scratch and patience so I'd say it has to run over a longer period. And would you say only armour subjects are allowed, or also naval and air subjects like the Kirov?

A whole weekend and still no animo? weird, I thought there were a huge amount of people that love at least Red Alert 2
