Hello,
I have few questions on AFV Club’s Tiger I kits (Ausf. Early and Final) in 1/48 scale:
1) Do these maintain the typical high quality of Club’s 1/35 line in 1/48 as well?
2) Any recommended PE and aftermarket sets?
3) I’m pretty new to German WWII armor so pardon my ignorance. What would be my options for non-camouflage markings? I’m guessing Final version is pretty much out of the list with this “restriction”. For Early I can see DAK yellow or grey for Russian campaign (Kursk?). Am I right? Is there any other option (Italy, Normandy)?
Thanks a lot

These are originally Skybow kits and not AFV Club kits. Having said that, they are the best 1/48 scale Tigers out there. There are reviews on Perth http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/48/48reviews.htm. I know Hauler does PE sets, and Verlinden did an engine. AFV Club does some individual track links too.
