It looks good from a distance, but he missed lots of details and has all sorts of accuracy issues. He has lots of color errors too.

The .50 cal ammo cans should be dark green, not sand. Same for the 40mm ammo cans in the turret bustle rack.

The rear lights are not correct. The taillights are upside down. The ovals should be up. Also, he didn't paint them. Only the upper left oval should be red, the others are all black slits as part of the blackout drive/stop light system. Most modelers get this wrong and it is a pet peave of mine. Here is how it should look.

The handle in the circle on the left front side skirt should be red. It is the pull handle for a HALON fire suppression system inside the vehicle.

The antennas and their bases should be dark green, not black.

The straps on the water jugs should not be brown leather. They should be a shade of green fabric webbing w/flat black buckles. Same for the straps on the ammo cans, which he elected not to paint.

His stowage is not accurate either....

i was going to post some pictures of some afv models ive just built ,but dont think i will bover now.hope maxwinamp will still bover to build great models and they look fantastic up close and at a distance! anyway im going to get rid of all my unbuilt models now (thousands) and take up rivet counting,im converted!

Well, this is CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK and in reading the guidelines of this part of the site, this is exactly what is expected of this part of the site. So, rivet counting and other forms of "nitpicking" are expected, including how well the model may nor may not be built.

Having said that, overall I really like this model - I think we all agree it is a super paint job and weathering job. I don't know much about Sheridans either but I can still appreciate the comments on the detail, and I am sure the modeler does too since he put his post here. So, don't be discouraged. Getting proper feedback here can help all of us become better modelers, I think.

Why would you not build any more models? As Bob says, this is in the Constructive Feedback Forum, I provided that. The goal here is that the builder and other modelers will learn form the comments and improve their modeling. Also, any critique you get should be taken with a grain of salt. The real point is that you are happy with it. No one is going to crucify you if it isn't perfect. As long as you are happy with it, you are good.

Please build and display your models. The community here will appreciate them.

Like I said, the Sheridan looks good to the untrained eye, I just work on these vehicles daily, so I have a trained eye for the minor details.

Gino found what I did, so I won't rehash them. Something he didn't comment on though...
The very forward .50 cal gun shields weren't installed on our Sheri's in the desert. We ran just the ones on either side of the MG mount that sort of folded around the front. In fact I never saw the forward shields on any of the battalion's vehicles the whole time I had mine with the 82d.. (4+ years) The bumper markings aren't right either. The side tactical markings are for Delta Company, 2nd Platoon Leaders vehicle, but the bumper number is for Bravo Company 3rd Platoon Sergeants vehicle. Spare road wheels were mounted under the bustle rack not on the commanders "Chicken Tub" as we called them. Smoke grenades are in the wrong location. Should be mounted in the farthest forward mounting slot of the old single tube launchers to get the correct displacement angle. Exhaust flap is still tan. These rusted like any other exhaust and were pretty bent and battered. Handles for the engine access grills are missing. Power cable for the searchlight is missing. Having said all that, its still a nice looking build. Having commanded one of these beasts for 4+ years, is the only advantage I have. I know what should be there and what shouldn't. Thanks for sharing your work. "Q"
