I just got my kit from the FedEx buy today. Looks good with just a breif gaze over the kit.
Anyone else already get this? Comments?

Just got mine. The new parts look nice. Is the turret new or is it the same as one offered in the earlier 1941 cast turret kit? It looks very similar if not the same, does anyone now for sure.
Great pics of an original here:

Nice photos. It's great when you can also see the serial number, too.

No, I think it looks more like a '2', so February '43.

It is different from the turret in the earlier kit, but relatively subtly so. The seam around the turret is different, much more pronounced on the new kit. There might be more differences, but that's what I've found so far. I was expecting more difference in the "cheek" shape, but perhaps I misunderstood what my references were alluding to.
It is a nice looking kit though, isn't it? It's a shame it isn't a regular production kit, because it offers a nice combination of parts all in one box. For example, you get both sets of cooling grills for the top and side of the engine deck, and all three of the different back ends - the rectangular, small round and large round offset hatches. It's even got three different styles of exhaust covers, although I'm not sure what the differences are yet. Anyway, being a T-34 junkie, I'm glad I got it.
