Does anyone recall a company that was doing resin wheels / tires for the MAZ?

Thanks

Hi there Jacques, giving you the thumbs up!

not building or going to (in the near future) build one of these, but again you provided soo much info for your fellow russian armor/stuff modellers!

great info, even if I'm not building it!

I will look at trying to get new pictures up. I want to finish this up for the Boots and Treads show in MN on May 21st, but, and I am embarrased to say this, I lost the freaking wheels for the kit. I will find them, but it looks a little strange "up on blocks". So that puts it more back burner until I find them.

And I thought I was the "taking a hell of a break"-guy with my Tatra-build

I wish you all of luck with the search for your tires/wheels.

Are there any AM products or major scratch building / superdetailling things you've done with the kit or you feel to be necessary (besides cabin interior)?

Hi Jacques

I while time ago I found two quite interesting reference links:

http://picasaweb.google.com/Andrey.Schukin/537#
(engine bay pics from a Picasa blog)

http://mhrfweb.makett.org/MHRF/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=267%3Amaz537gbp2010&Itemid=11%E2%8C%A9=en
(huge walkaround of an hungarian exemplar)

I hope these are useful for you or for the other post readers

I found the wheels over Easter! Miracles!

Now to get more than 4hrs sleep and I might be up to going after this project next. (Wow, what a weekend...3 kids and a Wife who is a pastor makes for a LONG Easter weekend. And we hosted my family too...18 people in one house, 7 of them kids...I am exhausted.) But I found the wheels.

Nice build! Can't wait to start mine...

But I would appreciate some help:

Quoted Text

pDear Fellow Modellers,

I have a problem, and I have decided to raise it to the international level

In a nutshell:

I have recently bought an 1/35 MAZ-537 Last Production (01006) and I would like to build a Hungarian vehicle. But for that, I would need the engine cover ("engine bonnet" according to the instructions) from the earlier kit, named MAZ-537G Late Production type (00212).

This is a single piece, the one in Late Production is longer, because it includes the cover for the fuel cells.

Could anyone please be so kind to make me one or two resin copies and send it to me (possibly from Europe)? Of course I would cover the costs.

My email is: [email protected] but I will check the forum as well for answers.

Thank you ver much!

Regards,

Adam
