Hey Lee,
Academy's European franchise make a resin conversion kit #35004, using Academy's M18 Hellcat GMC kit:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://academy-europe.de/militaer.htm&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=10&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DM39%2BAUV%2B%2522Academy%2Beurope%2522%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26as_qdr%3Dall
http://www.modellbau-universe.de/produkt;m39-auv-transporter;AY~35004;3;1;1;0.htm
It's a limited issue and at about 64 Euros ($102 U.S.) not including shipping costs, it's not cheap.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Also Legend of Korea does one using the AFV Club M18 GMC, I'm pretty sure.
It's officially called the M39 Armored Utility Vehicle (AUV). It's the subject of a conversion build by Steve Zaloga in his Osprey book on building US Tank Destroyers. Get that first, OK?

Hey Lee,
Here's a review of the conversion that Roy mentioned:

And here's the kit at the Legend website:
