Thanks Chris, almost forgot about this Forum since I posted a link to Armorama on our Website. Have to start keeping up with this one, too!

Just in case you've missed it, yesterday I did a News Item covering Iron Division's product range. It can be seen:

Hell of a good looking range...

How about a campaign or contest where you build a 1/48 and 1/35 of the same piece?

Then you'd get 2 levels of detail and the challenge would be to make the detail of the smaller piece match that of the larger....?

I, too am a convert from35th Scale but still dabble in 72nd scale also. At first our product line was going to head in the 35th Scale direction (anybody need some 35th Scale Masters?), but after building the Tamiya 48th scale STUG IIIG, that was all it took! I then checked into the Resin offerings in 48th and found huge gaps and a very promising future for it. I'm hooked on the scale now and we are just getting "warmed up" with the 48th scale line. There are now at least 30 new items in the form of full kits, conversions, figures and Diorama accessories scattered around my shop in various stages of completion. Four more items are now almost completed, waiting for molding.
With 48th scale, you can pack the maximum amount of detail in the minimum amount of space and it costs sometimes half of what a similar 35th scale project will. And the best part is it looks just as good! Check out the works of Lu Rodriguez, Pat Johnson and others and you'll see what I mean. Sorry about the long-winded reply.
