hello all,
i am painting the figure that comes with the Tamiya Char b,and on the helmet there is a crest on it.
my question is the helmet is olive green. is the crest a different color,i have seen other photo's that all the French troops have the crest,so i am not sure if the tankers painted the crest with another color.
any help is gladly accepted.

The crest is the same color. Take a look HERE for some examples (the infantry helmet is the 1926 Model). You'll find some tanker helmets (1935 Model) HERE

More here, the 1935 helmet doesn't have a crest, but a leather brow pad.

hello Frenchy & David,
thanks for the links and info.all my photo's are B/W and it was hard to tell if the crest was painted a differant color.i can now move along with the rest of the painting.
