Hi all
May sound like a stupid question but what colour primer would you use under a desert scheme? or doesn't it matter
cheers

i think it all depends on what finish you are after...if you use a white primer..the finish will be lighter .than if you had used black...light grey is a good neutral primer colour..[i use it a lot]
red lead.. like the real thing..is also good if you intend to model a worn vehicle with some factory primer colour showing through..for a desert colour shceme i would say stick with white! although almost any other primer except black [which i would use on grey panzers] should be ok...
hope this helps...

:-) I build aircraft and for priming I use Halfords Grey plastic primer, works great. I am intending to start using white, for reasons highlighted in my article on pre-shading :-)
