The good news is that I finally figured out a scenario for my Colonel Klink and Sergeant Schulz figures. They are viewing a captured American SEEP (amphibious Jeep) vehicle parked in front of them, while unbeknownst to them, one of the members of Hogan;s Heroes is planting explosives inside the vehicle, intending to turn it into scrap metal to prevent the Germans from making a technical analysis of this vehicle.
(Yes, historically the SEEP was considered a useless vehicle by the Western Allies, though the Soviets found it very useful to cross all their rivers and even developed their own copy. I originally intended to use the DUKW for this scenario until learning that Italeri's model is a late-war version that would be an anachronism in this scene.)
Of course I need a suitable figure to be crawing inside the vehicle to do the sabotage, but have found nothing as of yet. Does anyone know of anything? Thanks.

Hi,
itīs a nice idea and i love this series. You could try to get these old Verlinden medical set with one woundet on the ground and the medic is neeling on his side. He is not exactliy crawlingon all his fours but i think he is useful for this job. Or you could convert a lying/kneeling figure. The is a nice set from Aires Hobby Models "Russian Mechanics". Perhaps you could modify this guy a little bit.. Also this set from CMK "US Army Mechanics, WWII" could be useful. You could make it so that he is on his side. Only change the arms. From Resicast "Para 2 inch Mortar Crew", Warriors "US Soldier Kneeling". I think these setīs could work with a litte bit changing of arms etc.. I donīīt know exactly any Figure in that Position you need without converting. Looking forward at your work and happy modeling
Greetings

Hi,
THIS ONE is crawling allright, but I don't think if this is what you wanted .
By the way if you would use it to plant the explosives your diorama would be quite funny (maybe you could use this one as a diversion) .
OK - now seriously - I've never seen any figure that wouldn't need converting. I've seen one nice crawling (or rather laying) figure from Tamiya (I don't remember which kit was it - James McFarlane used it on th BOTF campaign HERE - you could as him which kit was that if you like this one).
