My daughter has painted several of the Zhengdefu tanks that color or similar. Looks to be the Tamiya M41, who's spoiler is added to the back? Missing the glass pieces in the driver's periscopes, otherwise very nicely done.

Just cut out small pieces of clear plastic, like from a blister pack (like the type Hotwheel cars come in) and super glue in place. You can also use 5 minute epoxy or Elmer's white glue to built up the space. Very cheap and easy to do and adds a lot to the finished product.

What a great job on the armor. Unique and very very funny. Twisted Dave has been after me to do a German armor subject, and after seeing that you have inspired me to maybe just maybe give it a go.
The idea I have tumbling around is to do a tribute to you and a great classic comedy movie.

MAn That`s Twisted

Really cool what`s the next subject??? A Sherman Hotrod Or a Tiger1 lowrider. I think that would be cool a tiger1 lowrider with a working hydraulic systems in it. Or imagine a sherman hotrod with gigantic flames on the side and those giant exhausts coming through the rear deck

LOL!! Those are good!! I wasn't really sure I would ever do another one, but after the reactions this one has gotten I'm going to have to do something. I have an idea what I want, but I'm not married to it yet, so I'll be going to the hobby shop today for inspiration. It may be a little while cause I want to crank out a 'legitimate' model or two. Since I don't post many kits here, I build mostly cars, I don't want people to start thinking I'm just a 'clown' modeler.

hmmm, I still have to build my Sty vehicle for the DSB too. Too many projects not enough hands.

We would never think that! You may want to consider doing a tank or other military piece in the same scale as your cars (1/24 or 1/25). There are relatively few out there and you could "collect them all". Tamiya makes a very nice 1/25 scale Tiger I that gets reissued every now and then as well as a T-34 and Centurion. Academy has a few Panther variants that build up nicely. The newly reissued AMT/Ertl Hogan's Heroes Jeep builds into a military variant with either a .50 cal or 106mm recoilless rifle (comes with regular military style decals as well).

Besides the fact you don't have a place to post them, I'd like to see some of your autos posted on this site. I really admire you guys who work in pristine gloss finished (a'la your tank)...

Not being a Tread Head myself I know how you feel when 3/4 of what we read about are TANKS,TANKS,TANKS.I love to rock the boat (or in this case the tank ) myself. Keep on dreaming, and haveing those original thoughts.

PorkChop : Click the pic in my sig. It will take you a page I have set up for pics of my models. The only one on there right now is the tank, but I hope to take some good pics of my cars and post them there today or tomorrow.

Aragorn : That is Model Master Hot Magenta with Metalizer Aluminum Plate for the shiny bits.

Sabot : I didn't know they made 1:24 tanks. I don't really have room to display tanks that big in my apartment but I may do a dio of one of those guys rolling over some cars.

I did do something very similar but in reverse around the time this site started. My Retro Army Staff Car--PT Cruiser was a lot of fun. Of course, my car kits never get that nice mirror like glossy finish. I do have a Ford Thunderbird NASCAR that I plan to do the #7 Alan Kulwicki Army/Desert Storm scheme on. I finally found the right T-Bird model year, some PE grills, a racing car trailer and a HMMWV to haul it with.
